Hello,
I was on your list of missing people for the year of ' 74, the reunion amazingly only a few days ago... I do live in London, ( since 1980 )so attendance would have been difficult to arrange, still, I'm sorry I missed it.
Many familiar names, brings back memories...where was Debbie Chandler on that list though? And I too have tried to find Jenny Hume as she was my best friend, Robin Jeffery lived next door to her in Diamond Creek. I used to ride their horses and we had great times together, lots of laughter...anyway, I haven't found her either.
I was saddened very much also to read 2 names I remember amongst those who had passed on, how can this be so for young people? ( No, I don't feel my age, but actually have lost a swathe of contemporaries in recent years; I still don't get this death thing and can't agree with it).
I remember the school very well. My favourite teacher was Miss Lundi who taught English fantastically and fabulously. I still hear her words of praise, admonishment and delineations of the rules of grammar, most of which I've probably broken here.
So. I live in London, I work in a hospital in the field of pysychotherapy, I have twin boys of 18....I play guitar, sing, paint,dance and write and I love the west coast of Ireland and the south of France.
Editor, who are you? Are you going to network us ? I am on facebook if anyone asks. It was weird that I looked myself up today and found this site.
